Private Placement at Haddie's
Haddie's Home accepts residents placed by their families for a variety of reasons. Our average length of stay for private placement residents is between 9 months - 24 months

Requirements
- Between 12 - 18 years of age
- Biologically female
- Behavior Requirements (exceptions may be made on a case by case basis)
- Mild emotional and/or behavioral problems
- Must be able to function in public school, with or without IEP
- No current alcohol or drug dependency
- No history of sexual offending behavior or sexual perpetration
- No active suicidal or homicidal threats, ideation or behavior.
- If previous history, medical and psychiatric documentation will be reviewed
- Not expecting a baby
Cost (Unless a resident receives a sponsorship)
- Haddie's Home requires that families pay 3% of their net Income for room and board payments
- Families are expected to cover the cost of medical visits and prescription medication
- Families are expected to cover the cost of clothing and school supplies
- Families are expected to cover the cost of at least 1 extracurricular activity
Visitation
- During the admissions and intake process, visitation will be discussed
- Typically, visitation will not occur during the initial 30-day orientation period.
- Based on family need and resident behavior, residents will be given the opportunity to receive home passes
- Families will be expected to spend time with the daughter during major holidays and throughout the year in order to strengthen their relationship with their daughter and as a family unit
Counseling
- Residents will receive counseling with our on-site Therapist
- Should a resident need more In-depth or Intensive counseling; the family will be expected to contribute to the cost (roughly $95 twice a month)

- Families are expected to participate in family sessions with their daughter and the Therapist. This may take place in-person or via tele-health.
