Auburn Offensive Coordinator, Rhett Lashlee, inspired local men from the community at a special fish fry at Haddie’s Home on Thursday, June 18. Coach Lashlee shared his powerful testimony, and how the path of his life led him to become a football coach, where he has the opportunity to shape and influence the lives of young men every day. He also talked a little football and answered questions from the 70+ men in attendance.
Auburn Offensive Coordinator, Rhett Lashlee, speaks at haddie's Home during a recent fish fry.
“Looking back, I realize that God has always protected me, provided for me, and had a plan for me all of my life”, Lashlee said. Similarly, the opportunities that young women at Haddie's Home receive will shape the rest of their lives.

The fish fry was an event to thank supporters of Haddie’s Home, and to share the vision of the ministry with others in the community. Founders and Directors, Phillip and T.R. Amason, shared their hearts for the girls they serve. “We are in this for the long haul,” Phillip told the crowd. “Every child here deserves the chance to grow up knowing the love and support of a family, and at Haddie’s Home, that is just what we provide.”

Family Court Judge Mike Fellows was in attendance. He tweeted after the event, “Haddie’s Home is a home where lives change for the better and where REAL love is on display.”
